This cask transports you to a Californian beach, Highway 1 behind you and whiskey in hand. It’s fresh and alive, with spice, green pepper and fresh coffee to taste. A totally delicious complex oddity.

TASTES LIKE
This whisky kicks off with a bright, peppery punch from green pepper and fresh jalapeño (no, we have no idea where this flavour comes from from a production standpoint, but we like it!) combined with the aroma you get when walking past your favourite coffee shop, balanced by the gentle sweetness of poached pears. It finishes smooth with creamy white chocolate matcha and the comforting crunch of Hob Nobs.

THIS MADE THE CUT BECAUSE
This malt celebrates the many parallels between brewing and distilling, which we love! It’s a total hybrid between the two, starting as a 100% malted barley coffee stout and finishing as a super distinctive malt. An outlier that’s just so interesting and can’t help but keep going back to.
PAIRING SUGGESTIONS
A malt born from a coffee stout calls for...yep, you’ve guessed it, a stout pairing. And if you can get your hands on a coffee stout or one with big coffee/chocolatey notes - like Beavertown’s ‘Spresso’ Coffee Stout - even better! For a high/low pairing, an absolute old fave - Guinness 0.0. YUM.
