MEET THE DISTILLERY
A newer player in the English Whisky Game, White Peak Distillery, founded in 2016 in a former wire works in Derbyshire, has already made a mark for itself amongst whisky fans with its lightly peated, super fruity whisky.

THIS MADE THE CUT BECAUSE
White Peak Distillery in Derbyshire, the makers of Wire Works whisky, creates a lightly smoked, super fruity whisky, and when fully matured in a tawny port cask…wow. If ever a whisky was a winter warmer - this would be it.
It’s smoky and sweet, juicy and savoury - an explosion of burnt ends, smoked blackberries and scorched strawberry jam. With all of that going on in each sip, how could we not!
PAIRING SUGGESTIONS
As the distillery uses yeast from Thornbridge, it seems only natural to pair it with a Thornbridge brew! If you’re into your stouts, like Georgie, go for their Necessary Evil - an Imperial Stout matured in a Bourbon cask for 8 months or for a lighter IPA we’d recommend Thornbridge Jaipur - Fab’s favourite.
