TASTES LIKE
The nose is bright and inviting, opening with a burst of lemon balm and sherbet lemons, underscored by a tropical medley of papaya and guava. On the palate, the tropical notes shine, with papaya leading the charge, complemented by a creamy backdrop of vanilla cream, the soft sweetness of sugar puffs, malt biscuits, and a hint of dried raspberries. The finish is long and elegant, with lingering whispers of lemon balm, a playful sherbet zing, and a touch of peach yoghurt.

THIS MADE THE CUT BECAUSE
We knew our first Single Malt Scotch Whisky had to be something special, and Nc'nean was right at the top of our list. Founder Annabel Thomas is redefining how whisky can be made in harmony with nature, and this single cask perfectly embodies that vision. Classic and refined, with a super juicy fruit taste, a long finish, and a lovely amber hue, we knew it was the one from the very first sip!

PAIRING SUGGESTIONS
We love a warming red fruit amber-ish beer to go with a wine cask finished whisky, and Moonwake’s Red IPA, brewed on the shores of Leith in Edinburgh, does the trick!
For a high/low combo, give the wickidly hoppy Joker AF from William Bro’s in Alloa, Scotland, a try. It’s a fruit-forward 0.5%abv IPA with a herbal, bittersweet finish.
